I've Got Baby News!!! Its a BOY!

I just wanted to quickly share that my beautiful wife Becky gave birth today ( January 11, 2009) at 12:07am to a healthy BABY BOY!
Kyron Ray Byciuk
9lbs 7oz ( He is a big'un!)
20.5 Inches long.
Kyron ( Taddy!) is just the sweetest, most calm baby ever. ( So far...lol) He looks just like his mom, except maybe he has good hair like his daddy. ( He has quite the thatch of dark hair, and after his bath, it looked like some kind of Faux-Hawk variation.)
My wife is the toughest, bravest person I have ever met. After this weekend, she really is my hero. Ill post more on our adventure later, but after 72 hours with less than 8 hours of sleep....I must get to bed! Thanks again to everyone who sent us a message of encouragement or was thinking of us, we really appreciated it!
I had to leave them at the hospital tonight and cannot wait to go back tomorrow. I think I would give anything that I own just to have another hour of Skin to Skin cuddling with my newborn while I watch his Mommy sleep.

I have been waiting to hear the news, tell that little man that the blogosphere thought he'd never come! He is darling! Awe!

Awww Shane, He's soooooooooo sweet..he has the james nose..lol.nana's nose..omg he is soooo sweet..i have tears in my eyes just looking at him..same color hair as u when u were born..Tell becks Congrats to u and her..Your the best and you are going to be a great dad and becks will be an amazing mom..im so happy for you..cant wait to see him'

And while I have had my own problems with AHC, it was the opposite when we had our preemie son in 2008. I had a whole team of NICU nurses, specialists, docs, anasthesiologist, and other team members circling us at the drop of a hat :) When it comes to babies and children, the care is pretty darn great usually. As you now know :)
