Happy New Year! My Favorite Parts of 2009!

Happy New Year Everyone!
It seems that each and every year that goes by, my life keeps getting better and better. 2009 was an exceptional year and while I am sad to see it go, I look forward to 2010! I thought I would share some of my favorite things from 2009 with everyone!
January: I discovered this thing called blogging! I started my other blog, http://www.calgaryrants.com/, which is a more slanted toward local/provincial politics. It really changed my out look on some ideas and opened my mind up to some alternative viewpoints and the use of this thing we call the "inter-web".
March: Me and my wife spent 5 days in Las Vegas as a mid year getaway! Vegas had a different vibe in the spring, likely due to the economic situation. I am pleased to say that this Canadian definitely did his part to stimulate the US economy with my donations to the casino's! Even though we have almost ten casino's in Calgary, I never, never learn! Oh well.... May: We found out that Becky was pregnant! Yahoo!
June: My nephew Tate ( Tatertot) was born! Look at this kid...cute or what?
July: Met the Prime Minister of Canada. Sweet. Sweet. Sweet.
And went to New York City for 10 days on vacation!
October: Going to Great Falls, Montana on a Baby Shopping fiesta! Wow...my wife went kind of nuts on the baby clothes there, but the deals were too hard to pass by!
November: Starting this blog! Thanks to everyone that stops by for a quick read and especially all of you that leave your comments!
December: Getting "Taddy's" room ready for the big arrival! Seeing my wife in her constant state of pregnancy "cuteness" aka the "GLOW" is amazing. I appreciate her allowing me to do this blog, even though I made a bit of fun of her!
While writing this quick post, I have been reminded that I truly have been blessed with a wonderful wife, family and friends. I look forward to sharing some of our journey once the little one arrives.

Wow, I'm surprised you were able to get so close to Harper. I'd have thought he was paranoid about letting people get so close, after all, he ain't gonna win no popularity test Lol!

Did you go nuts at Carter's in the US?? That's the best store for deals on baby/toddler clothes!
